About Alisha
I am a sophomore at Baruch College, with a love for math and teaching. Over the summer I worked as a teacher's assistant at a math summer camp called Bridge to Enter Advanced Mathematics. I was mentored and taught how to teach and tutor others and am now able to apply those skills as a freelance tutor. Now, I want to help and tutor other students who are struggling or just want an extra push with math!

I help students grow with understanding math concepts through practice problems, allowing them to work through real-time problems instead of just reading lesson slides to them. I help them with learning how to read and comprehend problems so that they may know what to do when coming across them, instead of feeling stuck with not knowing how to move forward.
