About Laura
I am a native French speaker with a bilingual background and a French Baccalauréat, currently studying at university in Manchester. Having grown up speaking both French and English, I understand the challenges of learning a language and aim to make lessons supportive, engaging, and adapted to each student’s needs.
I offer flexible lessons for beginners, GCSE and A-Level students, or anyone looking to improve their confidence in speaking French. I am patient, organised, and enthusiastic about helping students progress at their own pace in a relaxed and encouraging environment.

As a native French speaker with a bilingual background and a French Baccalauréat, I offer relaxed and personalised French lessons for beginners, GCSE and A-Level students, or anyone looking to improve their speaking confidence. Lessons are available online .
My teaching approach focuses on conversation, pronunciation, vocabulary building, and clear explanations of grammar adapted to each student’s level and goals. I aim to create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable practising and making mistakes.
Lessons are typically 1 hour long and can include speaking practice, grammar exercises, reading activities, exam preparation, or help with homework depending on the student’s needs. I use a variety of resources and adapt lessons to different ages and learning styles.
