About Caleb
My interest in economics developed from observing how financial decisions, market trends, and public policies directly affect people’s daily lives. This curiosity led me to pursue a B.A. in Economics, followed by an M.A. in Applied Economics, where I studied both theoretical frameworks and real-world economic analysis in depth. Over the past 10 years, I have worked with students from diverse academic backgrounds, helping them build confidence in understanding economic systems and analytical reasoning. I teach with patience, clarity, and adaptability, recognising that economics can feel overwhelming without structured explanation. I focus on breaking complex ideas into manageable steps, using real-world examples, graphs, and guided reasoning to make concepts accessible. Many students begin with uncertainty, but gradually gain confidence as they learn how to approach economic questions logically and independently. Outside teaching, I stay engaged with economics by following global economic trends, reading policy research, and analysing real-world data. This continuous learning allows me to bring current and relevant examples into lessons. Teaching economics is deeply fulfilling to me because I see students develop not only academic skills, but also informed perspectives that help them think critically about the world around them.

Economics becomes meaningful when students can clearly connect abstract theories to real-world situations they observe every day. In my lessons, I guide learners through microeconomics and macroeconomics topics such as supply and demand, elasticity, consumer behaviour, production, market structures, inflation, unemployment, and government policy. I focus on developing analytical thinking and logical interpretation so students understand not only what happens in economic systems, but why those outcomes occur. Lesson structure is carefully adapted to each learner’s level. Beginners explore fundamental economic concepts, graphical interpretation, and basic reasoning skills. Intermediate learners work on cost analysis, elasticity, market efficiency, and introductory policy evaluation. Advanced learners focus on macroeconomic models, data interpretation, real-world case studies, and exam-oriented analysis. Each lesson integrates discussion, examples, and guided exercises to reinforce understanding and confidence. Economics lessons also strengthen decision-making, critical thinking, and analytical reasoning. Students learn how incentives influence behaviour and how economic forces shape societies. My goal is to help learners develop a clear, structured understanding of economics that supports both academic success and informed thinking in everyday life.
