About Donna
Hi Everyone, I'm Donna and I wear multiple hats. I recently graduated with a Masters in Professional Acting. However, I have a BA in Environmental Studies and lots of geography knowledge to share. I have spent the last year working in a classroom as a SEND Teaching Assistant and I'm ready to start sharing my 1-1 expertise as a tutor. I would love to connect with GCSE and A-level students to help them excel in the subject.

With a background in supporting students as a SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities) Teaching Assistant, I am now transitioning into tutoring Geography. This is a subject I’ve long been passionate about and excelled in academically. I achieved an A* in A-Level Geography and an A at GCSE, and was awarded the Geography Prize at my school. I also broke a school record by becoming the first student there to earn an A* in the subject; a milestone that reflects both my dedication and deep interest in Geography. My experience working one-on-one and in small groups has given me a strong foundation in adapting to different learning needs, building confidence, and helping students overcome barriers to learning. My approach to Geography is well-rounded, combining both the physical and human aspects of the subject in an engaging and accessible way. I tailor each session to suit the student’s learning style and goals, whether that’s understanding key concepts, improving exam technique, or developing effective revision habits. I also provide follow-up exercises or questions to help reinforce learning between sessions and ensure steady progress. In each lesson, I aim to build confidence and spark curiosity, making Geography not only understandable, but enjoyable.
