About Casey
With over 6 years of experience teaching French to college students, I focus on building confidence and fluency in all areas of the language.
My teaching style is structured, patient, and adaptable. Grammar is explained in simple steps, and vocabulary is taught using practical examples from academic and everyday contexts. Lessons are tailored to the student’s learning pace and goals.
I use innovative methods such as guided speaking, conversation practice, interactive exercises, role-plays, and listening activities. These methods help students apply French naturally while improving comprehension, pronunciation, and fluency.

I teach French with a growth-focused, student-centred methodology emphasising creativity, mentorship, critical thinking, and accountability. Lessons are interactive, practical, and engaging, incorporating storytelling, role-plays, dialogues, and real-life scenarios to make learning meaningful, enjoyable, and effective.
As a mentor, I guide students to analyse grammar, vocabulary, and sentence structures critically. They are encouraged to think independently, solve problems creatively, and express themselves confidently in both written and spoken French. This approach strengthens language proficiency as well as personal growth.
Accountability is a key principle of my teaching. I help students set clear goals, monitor progress, and provide consistent feedback to ensure measurable improvement. Lessons are tailored to each student’s pace, learning style, and interests.
In addition to French, I can teach literature, writing, and other language-related subjects. My goal is to create a flexible, supportive, and inspiring environment where students excel in French while developing creativity, critical thinking, and lifelong learning skills.
