About Michael
I have previous experience and training as a PAL (Peer Assisted Learning) Leader for Business Calculus (MATH 1020) at Clemson University. At the high school level, I always excelled in math, receiving a 4 on the AP Statistics exam and receiving a 35/36 on the ACT math (my first and only attempt at an ACT/SAT due to COVID.) I have the perfect experience for any math tutoring and understand the learning process better than anyone, as I am still an active student at Clemson pursuing my degree.

My teaching style focuses on understanding the concepts and making connections within and between multiple lessons. Most teachers focus on problem solving abilities and leave deeper understanding to the student. While this approach helps students avoid repeating mistakes, my approach allows for students to learn exponentially, in and out of my sessions, as my teaching approach allows students to apply this learning method on their own.

Michael is a trustworthy teacher because he explains the material in depth and puts himself into your shoes of what you don’t understand. If you don’t get it right away he doesn’t shame you or gives up, he tries again so you do understand it. He is very respectful and nice and explains the material in a way students can understand it and keeps the classroom collaborative. All these trains of him make him a trust worthy teacher.
