About Fabrizio Ivan
I teach English, Spanish and Italian for foreigners for about 2 years. I have trained tens of students, from pre-adolescence to adulthood, and I can say that I have always had a lot of satisfaction. For me, in fact, it is very important to achieve concrete results in my work, which obviously vary depending on the type of student, but that I try to achieve with passion and determination, qualities that I also try to convey to the student. As evidenced by my references, I can claim to have succeeded in this endeavor, as all my students have always been extremely pleased with me and my method of teaching. To know that my student "feels" that something has changed, perhaps because he is able to express himself with greater fluency, or to understand a conversation in language without getting lost, for me is a source of great satisfaction. A case of which I am particularly proud of is that of a high school girl who had a formative debt in English (he had taken 3) with evident grammatical gaps, but thanks to the help I gave was able to pass the exam repair, to his surprise (and mine also!).

Continued use of English and Spanish at work and in private life has allowed me to develop a native speaker level knowledge of both languages and to do this job with skill and passion. Unless exceptional cases, I carry out the lesson entirely in language. Normally I split the lesson into two parts: grammar in the first half and conversation in the second half. Regarding the grammar part, for each topic I provide with two or three exercises to do at the time, and as many as homework. For the conversation part I make use of the vision of a few educational videos to see and comment together about current news, or some written articles on a variety of topics to read together. Regardless of the method I use, I always try to enrich the student's vocabulary, maybe teaching some idiomatic expression or uncommon word.
