About Xander
I am an alumnus of Dartmouth College, where I studied Spanish and Portuguese, with a particular focus on conflict and different forms of violence in Spain and Latin America. The vast majority of my coursework during my time was conducted in the target language; I am a fully fluent speaker able to help you reach your language goals. I have significant professional teaching experience and will work with you to develop an appropriate plan to maximize your learning.

B.A. in Romance Languages from Dartmouth College. Passed MTEL Exam and hold provisional teaching license in Spanish in the state of Massachusetts. 3 years of TA experience and 2 years in my own classroom. I'm happy to teach anyone from beginners to advanced students.
I can help you improve your performance in a Spanish class by helping nail down material. I offer formal tutoring to accompany a class, as well as more informal practice sessions and personalized private lessons.
I have a strong background in Linguistics and can really help you nail pronunciation, as well as a deep understanding of grammar. My accent is a bit of a cross between Caribbean and Castilian, but I'm familiar with a variety of dialects from around the world.
I can teach voseo and vosotros forms to those interested.
