Erika was my professor of Italian and I must say she is a truly talented teacher. She is great with students, because she explains the complex grammar rules in a simple manner, makes it easy to grasp the main structure of the language, loads you with vocabulary and what's most important - she makes it fun! Students loved her. She is a native Portuguese speaker, and absolutely fluent in Italian, Spanish and English. I think that is impressive already. If you have Erika as a teacher, you will never be bored. And most importantly, you will learn the language and the culture together. The book she uses is really good as well.
