About Lucas
Hi! I'm Lucas, currently reading Economics and Management at Oxford. My journey has not been the most orthodox one - from pursuing a career as a concert pianist at Chetham's School of Music to earning a scholarship at one of the UK's most prestigious private schools, and now embracing the academic rigor of Oxford.
My diverse educational background has equipped me with a unique blend of analytical skills and creative thinking, which I'm keen to pass onto my students.
Outside of academic work, I love football and music. I represent my Oxford College in football and am a passionate Manchester United fan. Additionally, I play the piano, violin, and saxophone.

I've had lots of experience with tutoring in the past, from as early as 11+ examinations to as late as university admissions. I have strong interpersonal and communication skills, resulting in engaging and productive classes.
I'm going into my second year at university, so have very recently sat my A-level exams. I have in-depth and up-to-date knowledge about how exams are marked and what examiners look for, which I can help incorporate into students' answers.
Additionally, I can offer guidance on economics university admissions. With competitive test results in the TMUA and TSA examinations, I was awarded offers from both LSE and Oxford. I can help prospective students with personal statement writing, examination preparation, and interview skills.
