About Mone
Welcome to Japanese Language Learning with Mone!
I'm super excited to be your guide through the world of Japanese! I'm Mone and I'm originally from Tokyo, Japan and currently based in Wisconsin, US.
My passion for teaching Japanese and making learning fun and accessible grew when I was in high school where I was the president of the Cultural Exchange Club at school. I found learning new cultures and languages through meeting new people was super fun, and being able to share the culture I came from was such a powerful experience.
Now that I am with my American fiancé who's very into Japanese culture (especially sumo and anime haha), I get to teach him the culture, the language, and the lifestyle, and I truly enjoy it!
So, whether you're just starting out or you're ready to take your skills to the next level, you're in good hands :) We're going to laugh, learn, and maybe stumble a bit along the way, but that's all part of the adventure!
Trust me, I had to learn English mostly on my own, so I know the struggles and frustration, but I'm here to make learning a fun experience!

Objective: By the end of this lesson, students will be able to greet others in Japanese, introduce themselves, and understand basic cultural aspects of Japanese greetings.
Duration: 45 minutes
Teaching Method and Techniques: My teaching approach is communicative and interactive, focusing on real-life language use and cultural understanding. I believe in creating a supportive and engaging learning environment where students feel comfortable practicing speaking from day one. I incorporate a variety of techniques, including role-playing, listening exercises, and cultural discussions, to cater to different learning styles and interests.
