About Jagat

My name is Jagat Tatineni and I am a 1st Year Medical Student at the University of Edinburgh. As a dedicated and approachable tutor, I take pride in creating a positive, supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and growing in confidence. I understand that every student learns differently, and I take the time to listen, adapt, and explain concepts in a way that truly makes sense.

About the lesson

I tutor Maths, Biology, and Economics with a calm, clear, and encouraging approach, focusing on building both subject knowledge and student confidence. My teaching style is adaptive—I break down complex ideas into simple, relatable steps and use examples that connect with everyday life to make abstract topics more understandable. Each session is structured to include a clear explanation of key concepts, guided problem-solving, and interactive discussion. I also place strong emphasis on exam techniques and practice questions to help students feel fully prepared and in control. My tutoring is suited for secondary school students looking to catch up, boost grades, or aim for top marks in National 5s or Highers
