About Emma
I am an experienced tutor with a strong background in STEM-oriented subjects, having achieved an ATAR of 99.95. After studying a year of Biomedicine at the University of Melbourne with a Vice Chancellor's Scholarship, I discovered my passion for physics and mathematics, prompting me to switch to a Bachelor of Engineering at Monash University. With over a year of tutoring experience, I have developed a teaching approach that is both structured and adaptable, ensuring that each session meets the unique needs of my students. My experience in coaching basketball has also equipped me with valuable skills in communication, patience, and motivation, which I bring into my tutoring sessions. I am dedicated to creating a supportive and engaging learning environment, helping students from Year 7 to Year 12 excel in Mathematical Methods, Chemistry, and Biology. My goal is to inspire confidence and academic success in every student I work with.

As a dedicated tutor with a passion for education, I strive to create a learning environment that is both supportive and challenging. In my lessons, I emphasise the importance of understanding core principles and applying them to solve complex problems. By breaking down difficult concepts into manageable parts and using relatable examples, I help students build confidence and improve their academic performance.
With over a year of tutoring experience and a strong academic background, including an ATAR of 99.05 and ongoing engineering studies at Monash University, I bring both expertise and enthusiasm to my teaching. I have successfully helped students improve their understanding and performance in Mathematical Methods, Chemistry, Biology and ENG1005 (Monash University Subject). With a structured approach and personalised teaching strategies, my goal is to empower each student to reach their full potential and succeed in their exams.
