About Sydney
I have always had a passion for teaching! Working as a substitute teacher this past year has taught me that every student has a different learning style that works for them. Throughout my college, student teaching, and substitute teaching experience I have learned many different approaches and have a strong understanding on how to approach different students needs. I love learning about my students, their interests, strengths, and where they need help. I am passionate about not only ELA topics, but helping students in general! Setting goals and reaching them is something that is empowering for every student and I hope that with my experience and content background, I am able to help guide these students to their goals.

I believe that students learn best with hands on techniques, one-on-one instruction, and someone who can balance patience and kindness while also maintaining professionalism and expectations for learners. Tutoring is great because it allows students to receive personalized learning experience while also having an active and differentiated learning experience.
