About Oliver
Hi All, My name is Oliver but you can call me Oli. I am a 2nd year student at the University of Melbourne studying Physiology. I have been tutoring regularly for the last 2 years and within the 2024 cohort, the two students which I tutored received a 99.45 and 99.85 respectively. I became engaged with teaching others when my friends asked me for academic assistance. I felt the joy of being able to help someone understand a concept and build confidence in answering a question. I have always followed the philosophy of you learn more when you teach others and thus, I grew an interest in tutoring.
I love playing sports, including tennis and football (soccer). And I miss the beach on the Gold Coast, where I grew up from.

Each lesson is carefully planned to cater for the student's needs:
•Targeting a student's weaker area in the subject.
•Foundational support for a new topic
•Continued revision solving simple familiar, complex familiar and complex unfamiliar math questions
I will be communicating with parent and student to provide a lesson plan to reach student academic goals.
• Able to provide effective tutoring services from Year 11-12
• I believe the best way to maximise a student's understanding about a certain topic is constant recall. However, this will be completed in various ways, adaptable to suit the student's learning environment.
For Year 11 -12 QCE, able to tutor Methods, Specialist, Chemistry, Physics, and English
