About James
Having achieved 7 grade 9s at GCSE and 4 A* at A level, I’ve really enjoyed being able to discuss my passions for science and teaching with younger students.
Helping students to achieve their potential and goals for their exams and university aspirations has been extremely rewarding for me on a personal level.
Being at Oxford for 2 years now, I’ve seen the benefits of one to one teaching and discussion, and look to be able to bring that same approach to tutoring with younger students.

Lessons typically of 1.5 hours, using a hands on approach to learning based on varied problem solving and one to one discussion as the primary way to learn content and prepare for exams, as opposed to the lecturing and copying common in school classrooms.
Experienced as an in-school tutor and advisor whilst in school myself, I’ve since assisted students to prepare for A levels and Oxford admission over the last 2 years.
