About Harshita
My name is Harshita, a 21-year-old engineering student at the University of Auckland. I fell in love with chemistry and physics the moment I laid eyes on them and would love to share my knowledge by teaching other students, hoping they fall in love with them as much as I did. I've also mastered these subjects, gaining Excellence endorsements all 5 years of high school.

Hiiii My name is Harshita and I’m passionate about making learning engaging, interactive, and easy to understand. I specialize in teaching students aged 5–18, focusing on NCEA Levels 1, 2, and 3. My lessons are an hour long and are designed to simplify even the most challenging concepts using active recall methods, real-life examples, and hands on tools to bring ideas to life.
As someone who struggled to understand complex topics in high school, I know how frustrating it can be. That’s why I taught myself entire subjects by breaking down difficult ideas into simple, manageable steps and I now do the same for my students. Whether it’s physics or chemistry, my goal is to help students turn their fears into strengths
With my experience as an academic tutor and 2 years of online tutoring, I’ve seen the transformation that happens when learning becomes fun and relatable. If you're ready to take your learning to the next level, I’d love to help you succeed!

Perfect! Harshita has been a great tutor for my 16 year old daughter. She is patient and helpful and my daughters confidence has grown in both Chemistry and Physics.
