About Thabisile
Gladly call me Thabs. I am a 3rd year student who is basically on a journey to empower students not to let academics overwhelm them. I was a long-time victim of depression until I got to the realization that it’s okay to have some time to yourself and take out from academic stress. Reality is, you need someone to survive this learning journey and that’s why I chose this path. I strongly encourage having a social life/engaging with other individuals and balancing out with school because that helps you rejuvenate your energy levels. I aspire to be more than a tutor or a mentor..my biggest aspiration is to be that patient sister that will motivate you to keep trying and using different methods in order to thoroughly comprehend and make it practical to enhance the understanding. In simple terms..I’m very understanding, patient and do not associate myself with quitters. In my ideal life, we fight the battle until everything falls into place.

The trick is NOT to study HARD but SMART. Set a goal daily on hours you need to cover, for discipline purposes (e.g., 5 hours a day, 1hr 30 min..then take a break. To avoid losing your motion, take short breaks, grab a snack and drink your water, lastly meditate then get back to the session). This decreases your level of anxiety and increases your ability to memorize (my opinion). Use a blue pen to sharpen your memory, utilize notepads clipart just to quickly go back when you have forgotten and study to comprehend not finish.
