About Catie
I am a 3rd year Maths student at the Uni of Leeds, and so I can honestly say, I have made every mistake in the book. At my heart, I am a struggling student like you, which i truly believe makes me more equipped to tutor maths. No question is too simple, because like you, I am still learning and understand completely how you are feeling, because I am feeling it too.
I have a genuine love for maths, and hope to share that with you :)

My approach to tutoring is very adaptable to what you need. Honestly, I am happy to adjust my lessons to help you, otherwise what is the point !
In my experience with Maths, problems usually stem from not understanding the basics, it is very difficult to built upon weak foundations. So my lessons tend to consist of finding the root of the issue, and then working up the problem. This is how I myself study for my maths degree, and I find it be effective.
Additionally, my view is the best way to learn maths, is to do maths, so my lessons will be very example heavy, working through questions together and independently.
