About Marina
I absolutely love working with kids and helping them prosper in their maths skills. Having been a JC and LC student myself, I am aware of the lack of support present in the school system. I try my best to not only teach students how to do well in exams, but also to spark enjoyment in the subject and in learning in general. In my opinion, curiosity and interest are the best conditions for learning.
I see myself as both a creative and analytical person with diverse hobbies, so I love encouraging kids to open up about themselves.

With 3+ years of experience, I have taught Higher Level Junior and Leaving Certificate grinds, both online and in-person. I am also an Educator in a STEM club for teenagers called Walton Club, run by Trinity College Dublin, and have been working there for over a year.
I prefer to listen to my students and hold the class in a way that is optimal and most comfortable for them. I have taught students with ADHD, dyscalculia, and dyslexia, and am able to hold the student's attention throughout the session. My usual lessons last from 1-2 hours, and I provide written and colour-coded notes, exam tips and simplified methods for answering a question.
