About
I obtained my Physics PhD from the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC), where I was also a teaching assistant for over 10 years. Throughout my PhD, I led Physics problem-solving workshops and laboratory courses on Mechanics and Electromagnetism. I also I contributed to the development of a new Physics course tailored for the biomedical sciences at UIC, which emphasized on hydrodynamics and thermodynamics.
My teaching style consists of two main aspects: foundations and problem-solving. While I adhere to the learn-by-doing pedagogical approach, I believe a student first needs to be guided through the concepts by means of derivations, clarifications of subtle issues, potential pitfalls, and several rigorously worked out examples.
