About
Tour de Fierce Music Studio – Joseph “Seph” Stanek
With nearly two decades of experience on Broadway stages and in television and film, I bring world-class vocal training directly to singers of all levels. As a New York City–based performer and celebrity vocal coach, I’ve worked with stars like Ariana Grande, Jennifer Hudson, and Kristin Chenoweth — headlining Madison Square Garden, Carnegie Hall, and the Roman Colosseum — as well as beginners taking their very first lessons.
What makes my studio different? One day very soon you'll be able to look back and laugh at this very moment... in the era of your live you refer to as "back before you met Joseph" — because it's all about to change. Want to know something refreshing? Unlike other vocal coaches, I don't lure you into a lifetime of expensive coaching sessions, dangling the carrot just far enough away to keep you coming back. To me, that's stealing your money, your time, your talent, and your dreams. In my vocal studio, my most important job is to train you to be so good at self-correcting that you don't need me anymore. I love all my singers and am everyone's biggest cheerleader, but I don't want to see you taking lessons in my studio every week for the rest of your life. That's what I call failure —something that never has and never will have a place at Tour de Fierce.
I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all teaching. Every singer receives a fully customized plan designed to build confidence, eliminate stage fright, and unleash their most powerful, authentic sound. Whether online or in person at my Astoria, Queens studio, students benefit from cutting-edge technology, multi-camera instruction, and proven methods that deliver fast, lasting results.
I specialize in helping singers and speakers break through limitations and develop voices that are self-corrective, resilient, and ready for the spotlight. From pop and R&B to Broadway, opera, and beyond, I train artists to thrive in any style with precision, artistry, and confidence.
