About Chiedozie
As I move into my 4th year of Medical School, learning from others has always been an integral part of my academic and social life. Tutoring subjects that I feel confident in is not only something I enjoy, but also allows me to give that learning back (so to speak) to those who may need support in their respective studies.

Hi, I’m Chiedozie, a medical student offering GCSE Maths and A level tutoring. My approach is clear, patient and exam-focused. I aim to first identify what a student is struggling with, then break the topic down into simple steps before building up to exam-style questions. I like to make lessons interactive, so students are not just watching me solve problems, but actively practising and explaining their thinking as we go.
My teaching method focuses on understanding the “why” behind each method, not just memorising steps. Once the basics are secure, I help students improve speed, accuracy and confidence using past-paper questions, worked examples and targeted feedback.
A typical lesson is 1 hour, although I can adapt this depending on the student’s needs. My lessons are mainly for GCSE Maths students, including both Foundation and Higher tier, and I can support students who need help catching up, improving exam technique, or aiming for higher grades. IF A level Maths support is required, I am also happy to provide this but please let me know your specific needs beforehand.
In terms of experience, I previously tutored Year 11 Chemistry while working as a Science Prefect in sixth form, which helped me develop a patient and supportive teaching style.
