About Paagulan

My teaching is active, diagnostic, and exam-focused. Each one hour session follows a tight feedback loop: pinpoint the gap, scaffold the concept, apply it under guidance, then consolidate with directed practice. I model examiner level reasoning through worked examples, then step back prompting, not feeding, to build the student's independence and exam resilience. I close by reviewing errors and setting 1–2 targeted questions for spaced repetition between sessions. It's precise, purposeful, and designed to convert understanding into marks.

I hold GCSEs in Maths (Grade 9) and Chemistry (Grade 8), and A-Levels in Maths (A*) and Chemistry (A), with strong working knowledge of AQA, Edexcel, and OCR. My lessons are catered to students of all academic capabilities; whether you're securing a pass or chasing top grades or if you grasp the content but lose marks under pressure.
