About Mustafa
I am a 5th year medical student born and graduated from the UK.
I studied Biology, Chemistry and Mathematics during my A-Levels and felt it was hard to find the right resources and not just retain but understand the material that was required of me which is why I decided to make life easier for someone in a similar position...so here I am.
I have a background in research at Mayo Clinic and plan to continue studying the clinical side of medicine in-conjunction with the educational side of things and continue to work on adding to the medical literature.
I have a very social character which I feel is important in these situations as everyone learns differently, and understand your student and the way they learn will allow more efficient and effective learning.

My teaching method is based on understanding rather than retention of information, as understanding a subject will prevent you from forgetting the information.
My lessons start with objectives of what to achieve for that specific lesson but the way I teach will always be flexible as everyone learns differently. For example some people are more visual and some are more verbal.
I like to set tasks to be done after the lesson as a means to recap the previous lesson with every new lesson, because although we hate it; repetition is KEY.
Finally, I like to get feedback from my students as a means to make the lessons student centred as no one knows the student better than the student themselves!
