About Michael
Being a medical student, I have lots of experience studying and understand how to succeed academically.
I have experience playing piano in classical ensembles, jazz bands and touring (rock) bands around New Zealand. I also have a lot of previous tutoring experience, formal and informal, and I am very passionate about it - seeing student progression is very rewarding for me!

My tutoring approach is tailored and personalized to suit the strengths of my student. I am able to work with all styles of learning, including previous experience working with neurodiverse students.
Lesson times negotiable, typically 30-60 mins. I am happy to tutor anyone for piano, and also happy to fit lessons to whatever musical styles are desired. Plus I am happy to do NCEA if interested!
