About Danny
I scored a 523 on the MCAT (99.9th percentile), completed my Purdue biochemistry degree with highest distinction and honors in just three years, and currently conduct aging and biochemistry research as a postbaccalaureate fellow. I emphasize high-yield MCAT topics and use active learning techniques to maximize study efficiency for pre-med students. My lessons combine targeted MCAT content review, AAMC practice passages, and exam strategy refinement, drawing on my experience as a Teaching Assistant in medical biochemistry, cellular biology, and genetics courses. Each session is tailored to student needs, with a focus on strengthening reasoning skills and building confidence under timed conditions.
A typical lesson begins with a brief diagnostic or review of the previous session to track progress. We then move into focused discussion of one or two high-yield topics, reinforced with guided problem-solving using AAMC-style passages. To close, I highlight key strategy takeaways and assign a short set of practice questions for independent review, ensuring both retention and application.
