About Madelyn

I am a Honors math student that is currently studying 2 years above my grade.
I am currently taking Honors Pre-Calculus. I had been tutoring at my highschool through quarantine and previously in middle school. I have worked extensively with my peers, both younger and older, to try and find many different ways to get the same information across to different people. No 2 students are the same so adjusting and working with my students is key for success.

About the lesson

A typical lesson will be based on what the student needs, a lesson with a new student or with a new unit, for example, will focus on the basics and making sure they understand before we move on to applying these skills slowly adding on more layers to the problems. My tutoring is mainly for students that are struggling with understanding or applying their knowledge for whatever reason, may it be a teacher incompatible with your learning style or catching up on a math class from previous years. I have multiple different styles of tutoring to fit my students and equip them with what they need to not just pass the class, but to succeed in it.

I believe Madelyn is a trustworthy teacher because of the amount of experience she has within the school and teaching environment. Personally, I needed lots of help when it came to math and Madelyn was always my go to person for help. She is patient and understanding and will always lighten the mood when a true challenge occurs. I hope students can find her just as helpful as I did!
