About Sophia
Hi! I’m Sophia, an accelerated IGCSE Math student with a passion for helping others unlock their potential. I’ve tutored kids in both English and German, helping them improve their skills and confidence, and I’ve also served as a peer support leader, guiding younger students through academic and personal challenges. These experiences have taught me how to explain concepts clearly, adapt to different learning styles, and create a supportive, encouraging environment. Now, I’m excited to bring that same dedication to math tutoring for Year 7–9 students. My tutoring approach for Year 7–9 students focuses on building a strong foundation in maths by breaking down complex concepts into clear, manageable steps. I can teach both NESA and IGCSE 0580 and 0607 as I've learned the course before. I tailor each lesson to the student’s needs, using real-world examples and interactive methods to make learning engaging and relatable. Through guided practice, constructive feedback, and a supportive environment, I aim to boost their confidence, improve problem-solving skills, and foster a genuine understanding of maths.
