About Dmitry
I started playing guitar when I was 14 to join the local rock/metal band I was hanging with. After playing together for a few months, I started writing original songs for them and led rehearsals to push all the players to progress toward their skillset while keeping it fun and light-hearted.
Cut to 5 years later, our band released our third album, having a publishing contract with a major music label and touring around the country. It was a lot of fun while being challenging, but looking back at this journey, I think surfing through the waves of challenges is fun in its purest form.
I consider fun to be the top priority when playing and making music. Art is mostly play that could be harnessed into something that makes people awe and brings a meaningful message to them.
