About Naomi
Education can take you far in life, it certainly has for me. I recently returned from teaching abroad in the UK, while there I had the opportunity to travel across Europe and see things that I never thought I’d see as a little girl, growing up on Guadalupe St. in Houston’s under served northeast side. I understand the unique challenges student’s face in the public school system from the pov of a student, as a teacher, and now as a parent. My goal is to help make quality education accessible to everyone.

Learning should be fun, even when it’s challenging. I design my lessons with students diverse learning needs and academic goals in mind. Using effective teaching practices based on a student centered, inquiry based approach, students learn to create goals, reflect on learning targets, and self assess, to build self confidence and learning autonomy.
