About Ahmad

Hi, I’m a third-year Accounting and Finance student at Lancaster University with a strong passion for maths. I’ve always enjoyed the subject and performed exceptionally well in it, especially at GCSE and A-Level. My degree has deepened my understanding through modules involving advanced mathematical and analytical thinking. I want to teach because I love helping others make sense of numbers and develop the same confidence I gained through learning. My goal is to make maths feel more approachable and enjoyable by breaking it down clearly and tailoring each lesson to how you learn best.

About the lesson

My approach to private maths tutoring is tailored, supportive, and results-driven. I take time to understand each student’s unique learning style, strengths, and challenges, then adapt my teaching accordingly. I break down difficult topics into manageable steps, using clear explanations and real-life examples to make abstract concepts more accessible. I aim not only to improve grades but also to boost confidence, critical thinking, and independent problem-solving skills. Whether a student is struggling or aiming for top marks, I provide a calm, patient environment that encourages questions and builds lasting understanding.
