About Jannaht
Hello! I’m Jannaht, a passionate mathematics tutor dedicated to helping GCSE students excel in their studies. With a strong academic background, including GCSE and A-Level qualifications in mathematics, I am currently pursuing a degree in Mathematics with Finance and Economics at City University of London.
My love for maths extends beyond the classroom. I believe that every student has the potential to understand and enjoy mathematics, and I am committed to creating a supportive and engaging learning environment. My goal is to help students build confidence in their abilities, especially in areas where they may be struggling.
Having gained experience in tutoring, I’ve seen firsthand the positive impact that tailored support can have on a student’s learning journey. I strive to empower my students by identifying their unique challenges and guiding them toward success. I want to share my passion for maths and inspire young minds to appreciate the subject as much as I do!

I offer tutoring for GCSE students aged 14-16 who are looking to strengthen their understanding of mathematics and build confidence in class.
Each lesson lasts between 1 to 2 hours, allowing us to dive deep into challenging topics while also providing enough time for practice and discussion.
Qualifications & Experience:
As a current university student pursuing a degree in Mathematics with Finance and Economics, I have solid foundations in math. I also have experience tutoring students, helping them navigate their learning challenges effectively.
Teaching Methodology:
Warm-Up/Recap (5-10 mins):
We’ll begin with a brief recap or warm-up exercise to refresh your memory and help you feel comfortable.
Focused Assistance on Difficult Topics (30-60 mins):
Identifying Challenges: Together, we’ll identify the specific topics you're struggling with, allowing you to take the lead in your learning journey.
Collaborative Learning: I’ll provide tailored explanations and support, breaking down concepts into manageable parts. We’ll work through problems step-by-step, ensuring you grasp the material fully.
Exam-Style Practice (15-30 mins):
We’ll tackle exam-style questions related to the topics we’ve covered, focusing on strategies and techniques that help you approach these questions confidently.
Review & Personalized Homework (5-10 mins):
At the end of our session, we’ll summarize what we’ve learned and discuss any homework that targets your specific needs, reinforcing your understanding and preparing you for upcoming exams
