About Khaleda
Aside from the gratification I get from supporting my students, mathematics and teaching are extremely important to me and have vitally contributed towards my growth as a person. I was raised in a culture that taught us women cannot succeed. I have struggled uphill throughout my personal, academic and professional life just to do something I love. My commitment and dedication has led me to not only teach my passion to others, but also to hold a senior leadership position by the age of 30 - which made me the youngest senior leader in the schools I have worked. My position allows me to now positively contribute towards the wider education of young people, and to also act as an ethnic minority female STEM role model. This is why I provide a high quality, top tier service to all of the students I tutor. Maths is not just a school subject for me, and I firmly believe that anybody can embrace and improve their capability to learn maths.

Having tutored thousands of students in maths I have developed a fluid teaching style, which leverages positive relationship building and adaptive practices. My qualifications include a university degree from the Queen Mary University of London, and I continue to further my own personal education by participating in supplementary courses which support my tutoring capabilities. I have had an extensive career in education, which not only includes teaching maths to a wide spectrum of diverse students at various skill levels, but also includes holding leadership positions at multiple secondary schools in London. Whether you are a struggling key stage 3 or GCSE student who needs extra support or you are an achieved student that wants to improve their chances, I can support you in succeeding with the best grades possible for you. I am proud of my track record, and am confident that I can help you. Lessons are typically 1-2 hours long on a weekly basis, though I can provide more sessions as necessary.
