About Maya

Hi! I’m Maya, a GCSE Maths tutor. I achieved a Grade 9 in GCSE Maths and am currently predicted an A* at A-Level. Over the past few months, I’ve helped students aged 13–16 build confidence and improve their Maths skills. I know Maths can sometimes feel overwhelming, so I work to make it clear, enjoyable, and even fun. Each lesson is tailored to your needs—whether you want to strengthen your foundations, catch up on missed topics, or aim for top grades. I genuinely enjoy teaching because I love those ‘lightbulb moments’ when things finally click. My goal is to help you feel confident, capable, and ready to ace your exams—because I know you can.

About the lesson

I tutor GCSE Maths for students aged 13–16, tailoring each lesson to their individual learning style and pace. My lessons are typically one hour long and include clear explanations, interactive problem-solving, and exam-style practice. I focus on building confidence through targeted revision, step-by-step breakdowns of tricky topics, and plenty of guided practice. I aim to make lessons both engaging and effective, helping students improve their understanding and exam performance.
