About Olivia-May
I am a student and took up the hobby of playing the piano in my early years of secondary school . I reached the Trinity Exam grade 3 at that time but am now playing at a Grade 6 standard. After Choosing GCSE Music i decided it was something i wanted to pursue in the future and to share this passion with others like myself.

My ideal teaching method would be over a Zoom Call, Skype, Facetime or Whattsapp, once or twice a week. I approach each topic with a slow pace allowing each student to keep up and learn as much as possible in each session. Eventually when i learn what works for the individual i can alter my methods, again, allowing the student to improve as much as possible. For a first session, i like to take that time to asses the Student and find What style of music they like, What standard that play at and How well they can read music. Then going on to some level basics to see if any previous work they may have done needs recapping.
