About Olivia
I have 6 years of experience teaching guitar to beginners and school-level students. My music training at the University of Southern California (USC) helped me develop a strong understanding of both technique and musical creativity.
I have helped students learn to play songs confidently and perform in school programs. I was awarded a Guitar Teaching Recognition Award for helping beginners improve quickly with simple and effective teaching methods.

I teach guitar in a very practical and easy-to-follow way so students can start enjoying music quickly. I begin with the basics like posture, finger placement, and strumming techniques, and then guide you into playing chords and songs step by step.
As you improve, I introduce styles like rock, blues, and light jazz so you can discover what you enjoy the most. I also help students who want to sing while playing guitar, which builds coordination and confidence. My lessons are always flexible and focused on helping you feel real progress without making things complicated.
I make sure every session feels productive but also fun, so you stay motivated and consistent.
