About Doga
Hello,
My name is Doğa Çelik.
I completed my acting education first at Delft Art Center in the Netherlands and later on at the New York Film Academy in the USA. Later, I continued to work on the Meisner technique, the main acting method I learned at the conservatory, and continued to work in studios such as Willem Esper Studio, Neighborhood Playhouse or TAG NY in New York City. It depends on what the actor wants to work on. This may be preparing for an audition, for character work of a production in which he/she is currently working, or general exercises for the actor’s personal development.
These techniques are there to help the actor analyze the character in a unique way in accordance with the needs of the modern productions, adapt the actor quickly to world of their character and also be more open and accept their instincts easily.
The Meisner technique is used to keep actors alive and active. My goal is to help you by using the fundementals of Meisner while adding useful practices or tricks from other techniques to your work.
