About Samkelo
I have been giving lessons since grade 8 all the way through to grade 12 in various subjects, mostly in maths and science. I have held group sessions and individual sessions with students and all my students have passed with a minimum of 65%. According to the stats I gathered in 2022, the average increase in the marks of my previous students estimated to 29% from 2020. I obtained 6 distinctions in Matric, of which Mathematics and Physical Sciences were both above 90%. I received numerous awards the top3 being: in the top 15 of the Ekhuruhleni district; Top 2 in the Karabo center; and the overall best performing matric student at my high school.

My teaching method is student-centered as Mathematics consists of challenging chapters with rigorous study outcomes, whose magnitude of difficulty varying from learner to learner. I kick of a lesson with a few questions to scrutinize a leaner's understanding and position as far as study outcomes per chapter are concerned. I provide a comprehensive lesson for my students, followed by us working through problems and then let the students work through the problems on their own. This gives me an indication of what areas need more attention. I also then assist with EXAM preparation by working through PAST EXAM papers.
