About Oliver
I graduated from Neumann University with a Bachelor's of Science in Mathematics and a Psychology minor in December 2022. In college, I completed General Chemistry 1 & 2, Calculus 1-4, Linear Algebra, Differential Equations, and Numerical Analysis and finished with a 3.6 GPA. I have been tutoring students from elementary school level to upper-level classes for chemistry and mathematics for about 6 years now. I am comfortable tutoring the Math/Science sections of standardized tests such as the SAT and ACT. Since earning my degree, I have worked multiple jobs in the educational field from being a 9th Grade Algebra 1 Tutor to an Adjunct Mathematics Professor at my alma mater. Furthermore, I continue to tutor on the side to provide extra support for those that may need it through platforms such as Wyzant and Varsity Tutors.

I have slightly different approaches and methods to tutor depending on the age group/grade-level. Although I love making sure the student feels more confident with their subject knowledge, I also always try my best to make sure the person is comfortable with how I teach/present the material. Over my years of tutoring, I have experienced students of all different learning styles and capabilities. So, if someone were to be confused or struggling with how I first help them, I would "take a step back" and look at it from a different angle to find another way on how to present the material.
I am always open to new suggestions, resources, and feedback from both students and parents alike.
