About Steve
I have been working in the government, non-profit, private sectors, and higher education for a little under 20 years. During my time in each I was a point of contact for multiple projects, programs and the like. During my time with the American Red Cross I was the main person that would speak to partners build relationships and ensuring that programs progressed with local and governmental partners. I also have professional experience in speaking with executives and stakeholders to ensure success of exercises and projects. I take pride in teaching and ensuring understanding of the subject matter.

I believe that public speaking is best learned by doing and receiving feedback. I typically focus on general areas, best practices and approaches ending in speeches that are geared toward that specific area that are completed by the student. My lessons are designed for a 3rd year or junior level college student.
As a teacher I pride myself on giving very specific feedback that is individualized towards the student and that points out areas of improvement. I'm also very big on a no-fault learning environment where students do not feel stress while learning how to be impactful public speakers.
