Hi! My name is Donovan Murphy. I am a qualified, professional English teacher from Sydney, Australia. I have also lived in London, although I currently live and teach in Guadalajara.
Here in Guadalajara I have worked in respected institutions such as PROULEX and IMAC Inglés Total, but I am more passionate about giving private classes to the most driven students, which is why I'm on Superprof. With me, you will learn English in a fun and effective way. I handle a wide range of activities based on the best language acquisition theories.
Grammatical instruction is limited to the most essential, since language acquisition isn't about completing excessive grammatical exercises but rather consuming and communicating in the target language. I use photos, videos and actions to teach. The vocabulary that I teach is the vocabulary indicated by Oxford University to be the most crucial vocabulary for modern-day communication. With my own voice as a model, I employ pronunciation techniques backed by the best linguistic research. Rest assured that with me you will achieve fluency in English!

Platicado con Donovan te daras cuenta que su dominio del Español es casi tan absoluto que puede alcanzar la poesía o el mas elemental de los lenguajes cotidianos, entonces cuando es tu maestro de Ingles, no dudes que te entiende y enseñanza el más eficiente vocabulario sin dejarte con dudas, altamente recomendable como docente, tremendamente divertido lo que hace mas fácil el aprender.
Es un excelente profesor, altamente capacitado y con buen sentido del humor, el siempre conociendo y aprendiendo cosas nuevas para poder compartirlas con el mundo. ¡Saludos Donovan!
Fue mi profesor por aproximadamente por 4-5 meses y sin duda fue uno de los mejores maestros que he tenido. Siempre se enfocaba en que dominara todos los temas y si había algo que yo no lograba entender, él buscaba alguna otra forma de explicar. Recuerdo que también él solía retomar los temas que yo como alumno no entendía para volver a explicarlos y asegurarse que me quedara claro.
