About Krista
My name is Krista. I'm 22 years old and I practice math for fun.
In high school, I helped the students in my class with their assignments when they were struggling. I tutored my older sister when she was struggling with Algebra.
One thing about me is I do Algebra for fun. In 4th grade, we took a placement test and I had the math skills of a 6th grader and my math skills were greater than 86% of the students NATIONALLY!
I've always been a natural when it comes to math. Although I don't have the most tutoring experience in the world, I will take the time to help others who are struggling 'cause I know school can be stressful for some people and I want to help.

My approach to teaching is teaching others simple ways to solve problems that will help them in the long run.
A typical approach is creating a PowerPoint with a step-by-step guide to solve these problems and including simple and more complex issues per subject for the students to solve on their own and we can work through these problems together.
My lessons are for struggling high school students who struggle to learn in a classroom setting. In high school, I excelled in math of all types.
What sets me apart from other tutors is I want everyone I work with to succeed and learn how to do these math problems independently. I will take the type to make PowerPoints and show students how to work on these problems.
