About Zora
I am a piano teacher with 6 years of experience and a Graduate Diploma in Piano Pedagogy. My passion is helping students play with both technical mastery and emotional expression. Lessons emphasise pedal technique, phrasing, dynamic control, and nuanced musical interpretation. I guide learners to connect with the music deeply and bring authenticity to every performance. Healthy technique is emphasised for long-term success. Lessons are customised to each student’s goals, whether preparing for exams, recitals, or personal enjoyment. Improvisation and creativity are encouraged to develop artistry. I provide a warm, supportive, and motivating learning space. Technical exercises are combined with expressive exploration to create balanced growth. Students are taught to listen attentively and shape phrases with intention. I focus on building confidence, skill, and interpretive insight. Each session nurtures both musicality and technical proficiency. The goal is to help students play with feeling, sensitivity, and expressive depth.

My teaching approach combines technique, creativity, and performance readiness. I work with students preparing for church, theatre, and wedding band settings. Lessons are tailored to each student’s goals and musical background. I emphasise sight-reading, chord knowledge, and improvisational skills. Expression, dynamics, and timing are integral parts of lessons. Students practise performing solo and with other musicians. I encourage exploration and experimentation to develop personal style. Lessons are interactive and motivating, with clear milestones. I provide constructive feedback to guide steady improvement. Theory is applied practically to strengthen understanding. Ensemble and collaborative skills are developed through performance exercises. My aim is to produce confident, expressive, and versatile pianists ready for any stage.
