About Michael
I'm Michael Alves, 29. I'm Brazilian and I've been studying music in Vienna since 2016.
As an orchestral musician, I've played in the main youth orchestra of Brazil (Young Orchestra of São Paulo State)
As a chamber musician, I've played in Ilumina Festival and Campos do Jordão Winter Festival .
I started teaching in 2011, even playing music theory as a violin.

I use different learning methods. Since each student has individual goals and I adapt them accordingly.
For some I use the teaching of notation and the musical perception method, as well as the development of a fine musical ear. For those who want to play music intuitively, I used the methods of some self-taught masters, such as Hermeto Pascoal and Lúcio Yanel.
To know which method I will use, I have a conversation with the students to teach according to their needs .
