About Aimee
I’m Aimee, a qualified secondary school English teacher and 2nd in Department with experience teaching GCSE English across a range of abilities.
I specialise in AQA English Language and Literature and have a strong understanding of what examiners are looking for. In my current role, I support students in improving their grades through clear structure, targeted feedback, and practical exam strategies.

My lessons are structured, engaging, and fully tailored to each student’s needs. As a current secondary school English teacher (2iC), I focus on helping students improve quickly through clear strategies and exam-focused practice.
Each session includes a recap, targeted skill development (such as analysis or structure), and timed exam questions with detailed feedback. I provide model answers, sentence scaffolds where needed, and practical techniques to help students understand exactly how to reach higher mark bands.
I specialise in AQA GCSE English Language and Literature, supporting students with essay writing, unseen texts, and exam confidence. My goal is to build both skill and independence so students feel prepared and in control going into their exams.
