About Anahita
I have been tutoring for over 2 years now and had over 30 students. I have been tutoring students in all areas such as pre-Algebra, Algebra1 & 2, geometry, pre-Calculus, Ap physics, and Ap Chemistry. I cannot recall a student who hasn't improved drastically since their first session. The lessons are very focused on improving your specific deficiencies, so most students feel a lot more confident after our lessons.

I graduated from High school and I'm entering college as a sophomore. I am a physics major and I will attend UCSB this fall.
My lessons are not very structured. The lessons will be unique to the individual's specific needs and questions. I can help with anything from homework to test preparations.

She is very good at explaining math for me at least. If I'm not understanding it, she finds many different ways to paint the picture of what's happening. She is very focused but at the same time I have fun during our sessions. She's a great tutor!
I love that she is patient with me. It helps me not get frustrated and enjoy learning. The sessions are pretty effective. We get a lot done togather.
