About Kubo
I am Kubo (Jacob) Bazo, a first generation Slovakian 17 year old who has managed to find his genuine passion and talent in teaching others. I have undertaken teaching several students since I begun my own A-level September 2022 in several of the subjects I had taken for my GCSEs. I have a strict rule of teaching only the subjects in which I had recieved a grade 9 (a*) as I am to genuinely provide the best and most qualified teaching to my students. With my GCSEs being in recent memory, I have a lot of experience of what it is like to experience them as a young person and what difficulties individuals may face regarding them, therefore I personally find it highly valuable to be able to engage any student in the lessons they partake in and provide a safe, calm and useful studying time.

I teach at a level which is personalised to every student whom I have the pleasure of teaching, typically when first meeting a student there is time spent engaging in what kind of pupil they are and what method of learning is best for them. I have experience teaching students a variety of levels from Set 6 Foundation Maths to Set 1 Higher English Language and Literature, therefore all students in a secondary school enviroment are welcome to use my services. I utilise custom made resources as a visual aid alongside my explenations as I primarily teach over Google Meets, these allow for note-taking to take place and for visual explenations to be provided. Lessons typically are an hour each, however students are free to ask for longer sessions if they wish so, with breaks being provided for the student if need be.
