About Amr

All praise is due to Allah, I'm a Sunni graduate of the faculty of education, and I've been teaching for more than 15 years. I taught in schools, centers, NGOs, offline, and online to kids, adults, and elderly people. I love to apply engaging methods and interactive strategies that will make the lessons enjoyable to the students. I'm eager to; make, and design various topics for the curriculum. adapt teaching methods to meet students' various needs and interests. brainstorm for and apply creative games and activities. I see teaching as not just a way of educating people, it's about something that changes people's lives and makes them able to have better lives now and in the hereafter. Therefore, I ask Allah to make me of those who spread knowledge in His cause and who enlightens people's lives through that knowledge.

Are you or your kids eager to learn Quran with Tajweed, Arabic, and Islamic studies, and looking for the right tutor to help you achieve this goal? Then make sure that you are in the right place with the right teacher by the will of Allah. In the Quran section, you'll learn how to recite the Quran with practical Tajweed while understanding the meaning of the ayat and pondering over them. In the Islamic Studies section, you'll learn Aqida of Ahl Al-Sunnah, Hadiths, Good Manners, Prophets' Stories, Prophet Mohamed's story (prayers and peace be upon him) and more. In the Arabic section, you'll be having the Arabic lessons adjusted to your level, needs, and the skills you're willing to acquire to help you read and speak with ease while understanding others completely. And Alhamdulillah, many of my students can now read and speak Arabic confidently, and are able to read the Quran while understanding the meaning of the ayat, along with having acquired much Islamic knowledge based on the techniques and the methods that have been applied to them, and the rich resources that they've been learning from by the will of Allah. Here's some links to: A Quran recitation of the second page of Surah Al-Hijr: (concealed information) A demo I did before which includes; Self-intro, Arabic reading lesson for beginner kids, and Idgham lesson: (concealed information) May Allah let you have all the best in this life and in the hereafter.

  • When did you develop an interest in your chosen field and in private tutoring?

I have developed an interest in being a teacher generally since I was a child. I remember back then when we had decided on which game to play, I used to love the teacher students game and took the role of the teacher.

Then this interest has been renewed over the years and through many situations like volunteering as a teacher in different places and NGOs, as well as helping my colleagues with some college subjects.

Later on, after graduating and working in the education field, I became very passionate about teaching and I don't see myself doing anything else except being a teacher.
  • Tell us more about the subject you teach, the topics you like to discuss with students (and possibly those you like a little less).

The main subject I teach here is the Quran, the book of Allah that he sent to all humanity through prophet Mohammad (pbuh). This Quran covers various topics that are related to all the aspects of our life and help us achieve the happiness and success and happiness that we all need in this life and in the hereafter. And since I'm fond of helping people have better lives, this makes me passionate about teaching all the aspects that are in and related to the Quran and Islamic studies to my students and the people around.
  • Did you have any role models; a teacher that inspired you?

Sure, The best of all is prophet Mohammad (pbuh) due to his great ways and methodologies in teaching the religion, and many others as well that I follow to learn from their methods and strategies.
  • What do you think are the qualities required to be a good tutor?

The most important quality is patience. Second quality is understanding the needs, the level, and the learning styles of the students to be able to choose the correct way of delivering the lessons to them. Third, the teacher has to be Fun and Firm at the same time to be able to spread joy and happiness through his lessons while having the required control over the students at the same time.
  • Provide a valuable anecdote related to your subject or your days at school.

I remember the first volunteering opportunity I applied for as a teacher, I got rejected by the admin in an NGO, yet the supervisor believed in me and gave me the chance to co-teach with her and to teach on my own sometimes under her supervision. This chance that the supervisor has allowed me to have -by the will of Allah- is considered to be my first step in my teaching career, and helped me proceed into it. Since that time, I believe that one person can make a big difference in another and the people around, one person can change the whole world and make a better place. It only requires belief, help and support, which is what I'm trying to do to my students and the people around.
  • What were the difficulties or challenges you faced or are still facing in your subject?

One of the challenges I faced in the teaching field was adapting the lesson to match and meet the needs of the different leveled students who were attending the class. Another was when I taught foreigners English without being able to speak their native language.
  • Do you have a particular passion? Is it teaching in general or an element of the subject or something completely different?

Yes, I'm very passionate about teaching as I see that it enlightens people and lets them live better lives, reach their goals, and achieve the success they aim for.
  • What makes you a Superprof (besides answering these interview questions)?

A Superprof is a big word for me, and honestly I can't tell that I'm a super prof yet. I still believe that there's much things to do and lots of stuff to learn in order to acquire the skills that would qualify me to be a Superprof, which is what I'm working on all the time and developing my skills and qualities and in order to become a Superprof that has made a big positive change in his students and their lives, and making the world a better place.
