About Allison
I am an American mom to 4 older kids. I enjoy talking about things that interest students in upper primary grades such as drawing, video games, sports and movies. I love adventure books, mangoes, and iced matcha!
In my lessons, I am warm and conversational. I will help you open up and speak English. I’m always looking for the strengths of my students.

My lessons are interactive and structured. I help students develop strong literacy, vocabulary, and writing skills to use across school subjects. I focus on building students’ academic vocabulary. We start with topics students already enjoy—whether that’s sports, Minecraft, or drawing animals. We build reading comprehension and writing skills. Then we apply those skills to school subjects like science and social studies.
